National Driver Training is a nationally certified program that offers parent taught driver education materials. Their approach is Graduated Driver Licensing, beginning with classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel training, and moving into additional hours behind-the-wheel. They measure achievement and graduation on performance skill and experience, not on a training clock.

Encouragers Homeschool Group supports home educating families by offering a co-op program, clubs, park days, special events, field trips, and more.

One of the highlights of homeschooling is a fun field trip. With the flexibility that homeschooling offers, the world is our oyster, right? Why read about something in a book when you can go experience it firsthand. Planning field trips, however, can be stressful. It doesn’t have to be, though. This is a secular homeschool group for those living in the West Volusia/Seminole area. Volusia Homeschoolers will provide park days, field trips, classes and activities. Since this is a homeschool group you must have at least one child in K-12th grade.

Christ’s Church Homeschoolers is a faith-based group of homeschool families in Jacksonville, Florida. The group meets weekly from September through April and offers extra-curricular classes such as art, P.E., science, and many others for a total of twelve class days in both the fall and spring semesters. Many of these classes are taught co-op style by parents in the group, and parental involvement is a requirement of group membership. Occasional field trips, parties, and weekly park days are some of the other activities that group members enjoy. Quarterly service projects seek to involve families in reaching out to the needy in our community, with a favorite being an annual garage sale for charity. They also sponsor Mom’s Night Out events and bible studies to encourage spiritual growth and friendship development.
