The Polk County Library Cooperative (PCLC) is a group of libraries and government entities who have chosen to unite and cooperate to provide excellent library services to Polk County residents, businesses, and organizations to improve the quality of lifelong learning and to ensure an informed and empowered citizenry.

Kanapaha Botanical Gardens is a 62 acre facility developed and operated by the North Florida Botanical Society, a non-profit educational organization.
