Wondering which colleges admit homeschoolers? The list is growing every day. This compilation by Learn in Freedom lists more than 1,000 schools of higher education with links to over 980 college Web sites.

The purpose of this list is to sell or trade used Jewish books, games and music, cookbooks, holiday guides, textbooks and Yiddish or Hebrew books for homeschoolers interested in learning or sharing books which are explicitly Jewish in nature.

This group is geared toward unschooling families in Palm Beach County, Florida. Sharing concerns, questions, frustrations, fears, tears, laughs and joys with each other and forming a group that can meet to socialize and empower one another is what this list is all about.

HistoryMiami Museum gathers, interprets, and presents the history of Miami and the greater South Florida region as a cultural crossroads of the Americas. Through exhibitions, collections, and publications, the museum offers the community, its residents and visitors meaningful ways to connect to the rich past and ever-evolving future of the region and its diverse inhabitants. Their education programs are designed to provide age and grade-level appropriate experiences. Students compare and contrast the past and present and are encouraged to visualize and discuss what the future may be like based on patterns of the past. They also offer their Historic Site Visits Program, with tours of the museum, the Cape Florida Lighthouse, Lummus Park, Matheson Hammock Park, Miami Circle, Miami City Cemetery, Miami-Dade Count Courthouse, and Virginia Key Beach.

This list is for the buying, selling, and swapping of various homeschool curricula which follow the classical Christian method. This can include (but is not limited to) Veritas Press, Logos School, Christine Miller, Laura Berquist, Doug Wilson, Bluedorns, David Hicks, Dorothy Sayers, and other classical and trivium approaches.

Pompano Christian Homeschoolers is a Christian homeschool support group that strives to minister to one another in support, encouragement and fellowship. PCH is a group of about 50 families who homeschool our children in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. They offer monthly meetings and co-op classes. Events are offered at varous times for such things as Spelling Bee, Geography Bee, Science Fair, Historical Character Day, International Day, Curriculum Sales, Graduation/Promotion Night, Mom's Christmas Party, etc.

Here’s the thing with socialization: We all know that true “socialization” is not just finding yourself in a group. “Socialization” as a homeschooling family is tricky: you can try to force it, and know the whole time that you are living in a contrived state that will please your family doctor and weird neighbor. But friendship is easier. You find people who like you. It may take a while, but the wait is worth it.

Community Christian School is a community of parents and educators who partner together to provide an excellent education for students. In the Academic Program, students in PK-8th grade attend classes on the campus Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Parents teach their children at home on Tuesday and Thursday using lesson plans provided by qualified teachers. Home schooled students choose from a variety of courses to help supplement their home education program. This option is the perfect choice for families who believe in the value of home schooling, but who also desire the positive aspects of group learning.

This estate began in the 1830s as a cotton and corn plantation that ultimately encompassed 2,400 acres. The plantation's agricultural emphasis declined after the Civil War and by the 1880s the remaining 160 acres, home and garden served as an elegant private residence. In 1911, Goodwood's ownership changed and the house and garden underwent major renovation, securing a place among the fine homes of the Country Estate era. The estate's style and elegance was further enhanced by Goodwood's owners in the late 1920s. Restoration efforts focus on this turn-of-the-century Country Estate era, ever mindful of Goodwood's rich 19th-century history.
